In the short time he has been a music industry professional, Chris has had the opportunity to work with many great music creators. His work with producer and songwriter, Keith Thomas has gained him many album credits on major record releases as well as a priceless education and experience in his young career.
Chris is best known all over Nashville as possibly the most talented ProTools engineer and music-based computer technician in the area. Having picked up engineering techniques from Bill Whittington as well as production & keyboard programming techniques from Keith Thomas, Chris has become an extremely useful tool in the entire music production process.
Chris has been working out of The Bennett House recording studios in Franklin, TN since January 2001. Currently acting as studio manager & chief engineer at the Bennett House, Chris knows everything about the facilities from wiring to equipment to functionality of each room.
Chris was raised in a large Southern Baptist music environment in Shreveport, Louisiana through his father who was a popular revivalist in the area. Chris and his father performed regularly in a large church as a vocal and instrumental duo.
Chris began classical piano lessons at age four which continued 9 years. He did not pick up piano lessons again until college. He also started playing the trumpet in 6th grade and continued playing trumpet until high-school graduation. During those same years, Chris played piano and electric Rhodes keyboard in his school jazz bands and various local rock bands.
Chris has since claimed status as an honorable veteran of the U.S. military and achieved a Bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University through its Recording Industry program.
